Ia Ia Ithaqua
Greetings from Camp Ithaqua

Ia Ia Ithaqua

We're at Camp Ithaqua this weekend, named for the Elder God of the frozen north. Basically we rented a cottage and played boardgames and rpgs all weekend. Good times are had by all. It's been neat to share space and get to know people, but I am literally leaving in a few minutes. Done all sorts of talking about everything from the symbolic world to why good people are interesting because they create good stories, as well. Also, we've got a few videos up on the channel from the camp. Being grownups is rad. That's really what it comes down…

Boredom Immunity

Woot Suit Riot In the 5th grade my teacher tried to break me with the hallway,, but instead I was transformed into a superhuman, incapable of being bored. Not exactly, but pretty close. Boredom is an opportunity to let your mind wander and your imagination run away with itself. The real secret is in the video.

FEAR ep04

Woot Suit Riot More F.E.A.R.! I think I might actually be getting worse at this game, and there's certainly less scary and more shooting as it goes on. Not sure how I feel about that.

Future Selves and Polar Songs

Today I wrote a thing, explaining the ethical obligations I have to my future self and why I should be nicer to Future Jim even if he sometimes is a lazy jerk. He gets that from his present self, so I can't blame him. Also, my final polar song, for Amanda Garbe!

Windswept Acapella

A polar song for the ever awesome David Yoon, a dude who I don't see with enough frequency and from whom I still have a lot to learn. Thanks for the donation and the request David, it was a treat to sing, despite the wind!
